Its elevation ranges between 800 and 2,565 meters, with the highest peak being Doi Inthanon, the highest mountain in Thailand. The park’s cool climate, especially during the winter months, can drop to nearly freezing at night, early morning, and late afternoon. Warm clothing is recommended for campers.
Begin your journey with a visit to the summit of Doi Inthanon, where you can enjoy the fresh mountain air and beautiful flora and fauna. The King and Queen Pagodas, surrounded by vibrant flower gardens, offer amazing views and are a testament to Thailand’s rich cultural heritage.
