Day 1
The journey begins around 9:00 AM with a hotel pickup, heading toward the quiet hills of northern Chiang Rai. Your first stop is at a peaceful Elephant Camp, where you’ll interact with these gentle animals—feeding and photographing them in a relaxed, natural setting. This early connection with nature sets the tone for the rest of the trip.
After a hearty lunch, your trek begins—about 7 kilometers through bamboo forests and narrow dirt trails winding up and down gentle slopes. As you walk deeper into Lam Nam Kok National Park, the sounds of modern life disappear, replaced by birdsong, rustling leaves, and the crunch of earth under your boots.
By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at a Lisu hill tribe village, where you’ll be welcomed by locals and settle into your overnight stay. You’ll share dinner with your hosts and have time to observe how the community lives—simple, sustainable, and close to nature. It’s a rare and personal experience of mountain life.
Day 2
Wake up early to the sounds of village life and enjoy a traditional breakfast before continuing your journey. The trail winds through misty tea plantations, where you can learn how local families grow and harvest the region’s prized tea.
Your lunch today is cooked fresh in the jungle, using age-old bamboo cooking techniques. The aroma of rice steaming inside hollow bamboo stalks is a memory that stays with many travelers long after the trek ends.
Later in the afternoon, you’ll visit the serene Huai Kaeo Waterfall—a perfect place to rest, take photos, or cool off. Your final cultural stops include visits to Akha and Lahu villages, where your guide will explain their distinct traditions, clothing, and language.
The tour wraps up at the Pong Phra Soet Hot Spring, where you can soak your tired feet or take a full mineral bath (optional). By around 4:00 PM, you’ll return to Chiang Rai with a full heart and unforgettable stories.
